My STEM OPT is going to expire on Feb 28th 2019 and I got two admits from Day 1 CPT colleges. For one university the orientation day is on January 14 and for the other college is on March 15. So I heard some people are saying that the new rule of USCIS is that we need to completely use STEM OPT and join in CPT university or I can break the STEM OPT and join for spring 2019 intake? And in case if I join in March 15 is there will be any problem for H1 as I am joining after 15 days after my completion of STEM OPT? Can you guys help me on this question. It would be great help to me.

If you have utilized your entire STEM OPT and are now on Day 1 CPT, it is important to ensure that you are in compliance with immigration regulations. Make sure to consult with an immigration attorney for guidance specific to your situation.
