I am a Fall 2013 student in Univ of Central Florida pursuing Masters in Industrial Engineering.

My question is when can I start CPT application process if I want to secure it for Summer 2014.

Curricular practical training is defined to be alternative work/study, internship, cooperative education, or any other type of required internship or practicum that is offered by sponsoring employers through cooperative agreements with the school.

It depends on your Unievrsity. Some universities allow CPT from DAY 1. Some allow CPT after the end of second semester. So check with your adviser
