Am I now illegal Or would I face problem in my OPT?

I am student on F1 and joined my masters in USA in August 2012. My OPT for summer internship was valid till 16th August but I did not know about getting my CPT renewed and went on working till 30th August. Am I illegal now? And will my OPT be cancelled because of this when I apply in future?

Ask ur employer to stop payroll for the last 14 days... there is something called "cpt capgap" similar to opt capgap but not sure what it is or how its used or may be you used it.... talk to school dso yo get your cpt dates corrected or to get some guidance
