    Lightbulb full-time then part-time CPT

Hi all, firstly I would like to thank everyone in this group for all your support throughout.
This is my first Master's in US and I am currently on a day 1 CPT (I had some other non-Masters degree in US before). I know of this rule that if I work for more than 11 month 29 days under full-time CPT then I am not eligible for OPT. I am currently working on a long term project. By end of this December 2017, I will be nearing 11 months 25 days of my full-time CPT. However my Master degree will only be completed by August 2018. So if my employer agrees, can I work on part-time CPT for the rest, from January 2018 till August 2018? Will that combination of 11 month 25 days full-time cpt and then the rest 8 months of part-time cpt affect my eligibility for OPT once I complete my Master's? Anyone else faced this situation? Any advises are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
