Question Employer not signing final self evaluation and final evaluation on I-983 form

    HI All,
I am working in field of my studies as a full-time with direct employer. Employer Signed I-983 when I was hired. But I quit the job and asked employer (and the HR) to get the the self evaluation signed. I got a response that because I did not give proper notice the employer management does not want to sign the forms self evaluation part.

What should I do? lawyers please respond.

Check out page 21 here: https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/ass...transcript.pdf.
The employer agreed to certain terms and conditions when they initially signed the I-when they signed the I-983 initially. You might want to remind the employer that they can be on the hook or face later adverse actions if they don’t sign the I-983.
You should also document their refusal and try your best to get it in writing.
Also, if you want an Attorney’s advice, call an attorney and pay the $75-150 for a consultation.
While Forums like this are a great resource, it never replaces a legal consultation as you don’t know who is responding and even if he or she is an attorney, about their qualifications.

    Thanks for your response
I did employer let know about it that they agreed to Terms and Conditions of STEM opt and all. I have been doing this communication through HR and When I have stated communicating about this being wrong on employers part they (HR) have sopped responding to me. I certainly looks like have to take legal advice on this but I am trying to have the issue resolved as there is nothing for which employer may not want to sign the form. I am also concerned if USCIS in future would hold this against me

    Thanks again.
