    Hi vicyrad, I received my ead after 2 months. i contacted my school DSO and they had sent couple of mails to USCIS center which helped speed up the process. But to clarify some questions others may have.

    * I did not receive any receipt notice or email from uscis.
    * My EAD card has same card number on as the previous one.

    I would say try to reach out to ur school DSO and ask them to send them email for you. In the meantime try to be patient, you will get it for sure. I know it's hard and makes pull your hair out, but there's nothing you can do really, other than wait. Let me know if you have other questions.

    Hi nagyen,
    Thank you for your prompt reply. This is really reassuring. My card has been with uscis for more than 2.5 moths. It is not clear if they even received my documents (USPS tracking is the only confirmation I have so far). I have asked my DSO to send them emails as you had suggested earlier. I guess, apart from that there is nothing much I can do. Calling USCIS wasn't very helpful either.

    I too have the same issue. I had error on my initial OPT card expiration date. My card was first processed at Potomac Center. I sent the EAD card back with cover letter and new I765. I got a reject notice in 3 weeks from Phoenix Lockbox asking about application fee. I had not attached any fee check (2nd time). Today I sent back my application back with all the documents and a new check; even though it was a USCIS error. Did not wanted to waste my time. What happened to your case? Did you hear it back from them?

There is no way I could track status of what's going on after sending my original EAD card back. I m thinking of dropping an email Nebraska USCIS asking about the status, but not sure they would be able to provide any info. Its been over month that I have been talking to USCIS customer service but no one provided me right info. Please update your situation.

    You should have mailed it to the service center that processed your application, not the lockbox.

    I sent it to Nebraska service center, not the lockbox. I contacted lockbox to know the status (as I was asked by second level officer of National Customer Service Center to inquire with lockbox). Then lockbox pointed me to send an email to NSC Nebraska to reissue a new receipt/ provide case status. I just did sent another (second) email to ncscfollowup.nsc@dhs.gov, NSCFollowup.NCSC@uscis.dhs.gov asking the status.

    By 04/13/2017, it will be 3 months that my package reached Nebraska Service Center, no response/ update yet. Please advice me what to do.

    I am exactly in the same situation. Even I got the same reply from Lockbox support and I was told by them to raise an inquiry with Nebraska USCIS (thats where I was asked to send my EAD card back). Even I sent three emails to followup emails (NSCFollowup.NCSC@uscis.dhs.gov, ncscfollowup.nsc@dhs.gov) of Nebraska USCIS, apart from auto-generated email I didnt hear anything from them yet. Later I raised a service request with customer service, thats when I was told that I should be receiving some form of mail from Nebraska USCIS within next 3 weeks. Its been 2 weeks that I raised service request but no form of communication yet. If you received your card, please shed some light on my situation. Thanks

    Did you get a reply. I am facing the same issue. My EAD card was lost by USPS, I sent over documents again, still didnt receive any response from them.
