OPT approved but went to probation

    Hi

One of my friend has applied for OPT in his last sem & got his OPT approved in May 2015 then he failed to get qualifying GPA, later he took a course working 20hrs on OPT. He was unable to qualify the course again in this sem, now he will be in probation.

Is there a chance that he can change the university & continue OPT or what options does he have?
Will he be eligible to apply for OPT extension with the new university if he is allowed to transfer

    Please suggest.

    Appreciate your responses.
    Thank you.
