RFE for Post-OPT expediting process

Hello everyone!

I applied for my Post-OPT on the 26th of November, 2014

Date received by Lockbox Facility(Phoenix) : 28th November, 2014
Receipt Number sent via e-mail/sms : 18th December, 2014( No idea why it took so long- I almost pulled my hair out thinking that my application was lost)

I wanted to expedite my application since I have a job offer in hand which begins on the 5th of January 2015. That is why I did include my offer letter and a separate letter requesting for expediting my application in the initial application itself. Once I got the receipt number, I called up USCIS to expedite it and provided the expediting criteria as Financial Loss to the Individual/Company. The lady was very helpful and took down all of my details and gave me another Referral ID to check for any status updates. She confirmed( I asked her to) that they did have my Offer Letter and the other Letter both on my application. However, today I received an e-mail from the USCIS stating that they need further evidence to support my case for expediting. Could anybody provide pointers as to what other documents I can submit for this?

If you are claiming financial harm to the company, they need evidence of possible financial harm to the company. You will most likely need to get a letter from the company, stating that they will suffer financial harm. Your statements are not enough.

Apart from offer letter you may have to send a cover letter explaining financial loss - please quote amount of loss per week, letter from employer if possible, letter from DSO if they give.
You might have got an email from uscis for further documentation, send the above above documents to the fax mentioned in the email. Good luck !!!

Mostly in RFE , USCIS will mention the list of documents that they need !!

Letter from the employer mentioning "financial loss to the company" would suffice. But most employers are skeptical in doing so.

usually the call center people will not have much idea they say yes for what ever we ask. but uscis officers can spped up the process only after 90 days .you must have asked for the spped up the process .doing or adding some extra paper work will slow up your process .so we need to send only the documents which they ask for no extra info is needed by uscis .

there is one more way to sped up the process saying that you have moved to east side .update the address in the university to east side and send your application to texsas service center .I did it and got in 45 days
