Exclamation Re: Family Emergency: How to re-enter USA after SEVIS termination.

    Hello Sir,
I'm a former student of Northwestern Polytechnic University, Fremont, California. I have admitted for Spring 2014, and entered into US with a valid F1 visa on 29th December 2013.
I have successfully completed my Spring session and obtained 3.6 GPA. And registered for Summer 2014 courses also.
All of a sudden my mother was in sick bed, and serious condition. So I have to come back to INDIA (Home Country).
So I have withdrawn my courses and my university has terminated my SEVIS.
But now everything is fine and I am planning to enter US for Fall 2014(August) and continue my Masters of remaining credits in the same university.
Please let me know the process how to enter United States and continue my Education.
My VISA expiration is 2018 December.
    1) Do I need to get another I 20 and new SEVIS number? If so do I need to pay SEVIS fee?
    2) Will there be any problem sir?
    3) If I get the same SEVIS number do I need to pay the SEVIS fee again?
    4) What is meant by Reinstatement? Please explain me clearly sir. Iím getting afraid and worrying a lot?
    Thanks in Advance sir.
    Please mail the answers and please explain the process to enter united states;

    1.yes
    2. No prob
    3. U cant get the old sevis back unless u pick reinstatement
    4. Reinstatement is not for u and even if it , it takes 3-6months processing time.
I entered thru a new sevis but mine was a different scenario.
You ll be fine. Just ask ur Dso for a new I20 with new sevis and yes u ll need to pay the sevis fee again.Good luck.

    1) yes 2) no problem, one of my friend also had a similar situation , He got his stamping pretty smooth , 3) buddy if new i20 is issued you wont get the same sevis number and you have to pay that fees 4) buddy you no need Reinstatement it is for those where USCIS denied there petitions and if they are willing to open the case to defend them self Then the petitioner will have a chance to do MTR( motion to reopen) on the case so dont worry about your situation get your i20 , go for stamping !!!!!!!!!!!!!

why would you withdrew your courses, should have deferred your next semester. NO college will terminate Sevis unless there's a violation of student visa. Could you be more clear ?
