Working outside USA for a short time on h1b

Hi. I am currently on h1b visa and have a valid stamp until 2021. For personal reasons, i need to go to India for a month or two. But since i dont have much leaves with my company, i plan to work from there for a couple of weeks as well. Even the client for whom i work with is allowing that for now due to full work from home for the time being. The question is would it be any kind of problem in the future in terms of visa status that we have worked for a couple of weeks despite being out of USA. The maximum in guessing i will work from india is one and a half months

As far as I know, it's not a problem as long as your employer is okay with it. You don't have to worry about any tax rules (India/US) as long as it's less than 5 months. Pls consult a CPA if you exceed 5 months (or 182 days - not exactly sure with this number) outside USA earning USD in US Bank account.
