issue with OPT application? PLEASE HELP!

    Hi,

I will get my BS in May, and I'm currently in the process for applying for OPT (haven't mailed it yet).

I was wondering if my situation with major/minor will become an issue during the OPT approval process:

Later in my college career (towards the end of my junior year), I decided to pursue a secondary major, in addition to my primary major. So I extended my I-20 before my senior year ended. However, during this past school year (that is, my fifth year), I decided to switch from the secondary major to the minor. The reasons were personal, I just figured that I wasn't well-suited for this field of study, was getting overwhelmed, so I switched to the minor instead and I am just finishing the requirements for my primary major this semester.

Since I am required to send them all my past I20s, they will notice that I extended my I20 and stayed another year in college with the intent of completing another major but ended up not completing it. Will this raise a red flag or cause a delay? I know that immigration law doesn't prohibit students from changing their majors or minors, but was getting a bit worried so I figured I would ask here.

Please share if you have any thoughts, thanks!
