EAD card got denied because of late submission

My work EAD card got denied because of late submission, my new I-20 was issued on 17th December 2018 and i submitted my form on 25th January 2019, i thought i had 60 days till submission. two days back when i got the notice of denial and the reason , i am lost on what to do next, file the i290B form, since that is my only option i think
