Hi,
My initial opt period is for Oct 5 2017 to Oct 4 2018. My employment start with employer 1 was on Jan 3 2018 (90th day). Now, I changed my employer and updated new employer details to school on the last day of my employment with employer 1 (on August 23 2018). I started my employment with employer 2 on August 27 2018. I have mistakenly thought that unemployment days limit was up to 150 days and did not request to move my joining date. But i have now 93 unemployment days (initial 89 + 3 days gap between job change). I have already applied for my Stem extension and currently my case status is "received".
So, I want to know whether the period between the job change is considered as unemployment days or not? Also if they are counted as unemployed days, Is there a high chance, my extension will be denied? Is there anything that i can do now to avoid these? Thanks in advance
