    OPT-STEM extension Question.

Hello All, I recently got a job through an E-Verified STAFFING AGENCY and I am placed at the client site. My Employer site and Client site happened to be in same city. My OPT expires in July and I want to apply for OPT STEM extension. I've already got my I-983 filled and signed by the Employer (STAFFING COMPANY) since they run my Payroll. I haven't mentioned any details of my client in the I-983 form since, my Client and my Employer are in the same city, I kind of hope that the new OPT-employer-site rule won't affect my chances. My only question is, Will I get my OPT-STEM extension approved by getting the I-983 signed by the STAFFING AGENCY? I've read somewhere that USCIS won't approve STEM extension for the students employed through temporary employers and Staffing agencies.

My Client is not ready to work with any other Consulting firms.

I have filed my H1B application this year but, haven't got any update yet.

Can anyone suggest any other alternatives ? Additionally I was thinking of joining a CPT college just to be on the safe side. Any suggestion would be of great help to me. Thanks.
