I am stuck in a weird situation. I am in my CPT from January and i haven't applied for the SSN yet. Now my employer can't run my payroll. I will apply for SSN in next couple of days but i guess it will take around 10 business days to receive the SSN. So my question is:

1. After receiving the SSN , can my employer generate the salary slip for January month ?
2. If my salary slip for January generated in February would i be assumed to be on payroll from January or February ?
3. This kind of situation is not going to hamper my status any way ?

Please give me some brief idea about this payroll topic so that i can get full understanding.
