Hi, I have an internship offer for the month of december'14. I am faced with the following questions for which i need your support.
1. Can i take CPT for the month of december i.e winter break?
2. How do i take credit for this CPT( which i believe is must, correct me if am wrong) as there are no classes offered in winter break?

Only your student advisor can answer this question as the rules of when and why you can take CPT are determined by the school.

1. Yes, u can
2. Get registered for co-op course in ur univ if they offer and get cpt I-20 and start working. Make sure to keep all the documents related to your cpt which might be useful later on

It's based on University policies ! some universities don't allow to take CPT in between semester breaks! Check with your DSO !
