I have a query regarding CPT and I-20 transfer process

1. Do I need to register for CPT in the beginning of the semester at ITU ? or can I also take CPT in the middle of semester if I get a job offer during the middle of the semester ?

2.I am presently working on F1 OPT Stem with the I-20 issued by my previous university. I would like to work at my present job till August 22nd, but my new university requires that my I-20 must be released by August 22nd in order for me to attend the next semester. And, if I transfer my I-20 before Aug 22nd, I can no longer work at my present job. Is there a way that I can work till Aug 22 and also attend new school during the fall trimester ? or Do I need to leave my present job before Aug 22nd ?

Once you get I20 from ITU your OPT will expire automatically so legally you can't work.
