Hey,

This is very informative post!

I started graduate school in Fall-2013 in Mechanical on F-1.
Later I changed my Major to Information System in Spring-2014. Now I have got an Internship opportunity for Fall-2014 related to my Major.
I have completed one academic year in the same university but not in the same Major.
Am I eligible for CPT??
Will this cause any future problems for my OPT ??

Thank you!

Talk to your advisor but it is better to talk to them because rules differs from university to university

Your CPT should be less than an year, else your OPT extension may* not be approved.
